Naima Hamoumi

Naima Hamoumi is a teacher-researcher who specializes in marine geology and sedimentology of ancient collections at Rabat’s University Mohammed V. She is responsible for the ODYSSEE research structures and national coordinator of the MARSIMER network.

She has received several awards, notably the IOC/UNESCO’s Certificate of Appreciation for her contribution to the IOC activities and for her efforts in re-enforcing oceanography capacity building in Morocco (2006).

Naima Hamoumi est enseignante-chercheure spécialisée en géologie marine et en sédimentologie des séries anciennes à l’Université Mohammed V de Rabat. Elle est responsable de la structures de recherche ODYSSEE et coordinatrice nationale du réseau MARSIMER.

Elle a obtenu plusieurs distinctions, et notamment le Certificat d’appréciation de la COI/UNESCO pour ses contributions aux activités de la COI et pour le renforcement des capacités au Maroc dans le domaine de l’océanographie (2006).
