Low-Tech Lab

Low-tech Lab is an online collaborative research platform and an expertise center on “Low Tech”. It brings together inventors from all backgrounds (handymen, students, engineers, experts …) to collectively brainstorm solutions to address basic issues while remaining simple, accessible and respectful of their environment: Low-Tech.

Low-Tech Lab is a project by Gold of Bengal, a French association founded by Corentin de Chatelperron, whose mission is the research, development and promotion of technical solutions that answer general interest issues while valuing the local expertise and environment.

For COP22, come to discover the Low-tech technologies through:

>>An initiation workshop: project presentation, video projections, discovery courses and explanations of the various low-tech systems.

>>An application workshop: improvement of a low-tech system of power generation and lightening to make it more efficient and ergonomic.

Le Low-tech Lab est une plateforme de recherche collaborative en ligne s’intéressant aux Low-techs. Il rassemble des inventeurs de tout horizon (bricoleurs, étudiants, ingénieurs, experts …) afin de faire émerger, ensemble, des solutions répondant à des problématiques de base tout en restant simples, accessibles et respectueuses de leur environnement : Les Low-Tech.

Le Low-tech Lab est porté par Gold of Bengal, une association créée par Corentin de Chatelperron, qui a pour mission la recherche, l’aide au développement et la promotion de solutions répondant à des problématiques d’intérêt général, dans le respect et la valorisation de la nature ainsi que des ressources propres à chaque territoire.

A l’occasion de la COP22, partez à la découverte des technologies Low-tech à travers :

>>Un atelier de découvertes et d’initiation : présentation du projet, projections vidéos, capsules sonores, parcours de découverte et explications des différents systèmes low-tech.

>>Un atelier d’application et d’optimisation : amélioration d’un système low-tech de production d’électricité et d’éclairage pour le rendre plus performant et ergonomique.
